The Arusha East African Training Institute (TAEATI) is an academic institution which established in 2001 aimed at prepares young people from Tanzania and other neighbouring East African Countries who will transform their poor communities and build a prosperous sustainable society.
It is the non government educational institute focused in providing excellent training in various fields meanwhile has embraced and invested in Journalism and Media studies as its core area of training and research. TAEATI before was known as the East African Training Institute with Gov. Registration No.216316, for the long period of time the Institution has been the member of the Media Council of Tanzania (MCT), later on got provisional registration on 31st day of December 2013 with REG/BTP/006P and had its full NACTE registration on 10th day of February 2017 with registration number, REG/BTP/006.
The Arusha East African Training Institute offers the following programs in both Certificate (NTA Level 4 for 1 year) and Ordinary Diploma levels (NTA Level 5 & 6 for 2 years).
To provide the research based education and training with the focus on vocationalizing to produce the real knowledged and skilled graduates. The Arusha East African Training Institute inspires its students to form themselves intellectually and personally and to prepare for meaningful and ethical work in a multicultural, global society.
